Oswego – On Sunday June 28, Ellen and Mark Wahl will present “from Water Street to Lake Street: A unique history of the Oswego Music Hall” at the Oswego County Historical Society’s annual meeting at 1:30 PM. This meeting will be held in the McCrobie Civic Center located at 41 Lake Street in Oswego. This event is free and open to the public, but members of the Oswego County Historical Society are particularly invited and encouraged to attend. As part of this event, the Historical Society will present their annual report to members.

Ellen Wahl currently serves as the president of the Oswego Music Hall, with experience leading the nonprofit organization through an incredible 2025-2026 season which featured national artists like Tom Rush, emerging artists like Abigayle Oakley who appeared on “The Voice” in February 2026, and regional performers at popular nights like Jazz on the Lake and Friday Open Mic Nights. Mark Wahl’s extensive knowledge of the Oswego Music Hall draws from his role as performer and past president. Both Ellen and Mark Wahl have been involved since the beginning, bringing the renowned “listening room” experience to Oswego that is appreciated by artists and audiences alike.
